Pulcinella

This is my school project from Opera Scenography Design class.
It's a fairytell based on commedia dell'arte Pulcinella ballet composed by Igor Stravinsky in 1920. The fairytell based on that balet was published in a book and you can buy it here (only in polish, unfortunately):
It tells the story of a Pulcinella who like to play on violin and he plays so beautifully that every girl fall in love in him. It makes his girlfriend very jealous, though Pulcinella loves only her. Unfortunately two girls falls in love in Pulcinella and their admirers, young men are jealous and they attack Pulcinella. It makes a lot of disruption in a little italian village.

The project show set design, and costumes for this project. The scenography is meant to be at the beginning black and white and then while the action goes the colours start to appear on the buildings and costumes.
I had to choose four scenes and illustrate them. So here the first scene is when young men is dreaming and he dreams that he becomes a dragonfly.
Second scene is an attack by young, jealous men and they are attacking Pulcinella. Meantime Pimpinella earlier before was hidden in a building by Pulcinella and she is crying because she thinks they are killing Pulcinella.
Third scene is with four young boys, and Pulcinella will ask them to help him make a joke on those two young men who attacked him.
Fourth scene is where young men scared that they might killed Pulcinella are hiding on a building and they want to jump on the roof of the next building but fall down to the street theatre carriage.
